| Podcast script and recording |
After instruction, each student will write a script for a topic related to either information technology/multimedia or their personal portfolio. |
| Interactive video recording |
After instruction, each student will write a script & develop a shooting plan to make an interactive video based in Flash for information technology/multimedia or personal portfolio. |
| Interactive Multimedia Flash website for nonprofits |
Four student groups will build a multimedia interactive website for two area nonprofit groups. This task will include a design brief, design document, storyboards, website map, and the website itself. |
| Flash Project -- personal multimedia portfolio |
After instruction on digital portfolios, each student will build an interactive personal portfolio showcasing as much digital work as is available from assignments in this class as well as others. This portfolio will include a personal video, interactive resume, and examples of prior and current work. A design brief is also required. |
| Midterm |
The midterm exam will focus on AS 3.0 and Digital Multimedia |
| Final |
The final exam will focus on AS 3.0, Digital Multimedia, and other instruction on digital portfolios, videos, and podcasts. |
